Getting There
Montmartre is located in the 18 t h arrondissement of Paris (which also happens to be one of our favorite neighborhoods in Paris). The easiest way to get there is by taking the metro-several lines stop at stations throughout the district, including Anvers (line 2), Pigalle (lines 2 and 12), Abbesses (line 12), Blanche (line 2), and Lamarck-Caulaincourt (line 12).
Once you exit the metro station, you can start exploring all that Montmartre has to offer. Just be sure to wear comfortable shoes-you’ll do a lot of walking as you explore this hilly neighborhood!
The Champs-Elysees and the 8 t h Arrondissement
The 8 t h arrondissement of Paris is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the city. It is home to the world-famous Champs-Elysees, as well as a number of other iconic landmarks and attractions.
The Champs-Elysees is perhaps the most famous avenue in Paris, and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the city. It runs from Place de la Concorde at its west end, all the way to Place Charles de Gaulle at its east end. Along its two kilometre length, there are a number of high-end shops, restaurants and cafes, as well as some of Paris’ most famous landmarks such as the Arc de Triomphe and Grand Palais.

You can take either stairs or an elevator (there are elevators all way up until you reach The Summit), or if you’re feeling really adventurous, you can walk up 1,665 steps!
